Tell me which transformer very specifically, and in great detail.
Send me photo's close ups and shots from 5 feet away so i can put it all in context.

The first one I used was made by White-Rodgers.

It's the transformer located on the furnace

Thanks for the pictures, can you post pictures of the burnt wires you mentioned earlier?...and a clear well focused picture of the unit wiring diagram with a tiny red mark on the wire that burned,
Next you will need a clamp around amp meter to check the amperage draw on the wire that was burnt.

I clipped that wire earlier in the day. But it was the white wire that hooks on to the bottom of the contactor. It's also dark right now in Ga.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I'm sorry it's the 240v wire
Expert:  Phil replied 2 years ago.
I need a wiring diagram, the burnt wire could be caused by a loose wire connection, but the breaker tripping can only be caused by a dead short somewhere.
I need a photo of the wiring diagram to coach you on that.
we can continue tomorrow. you will need a clamp around amp meter as well,
$50 at home depot $12 at Harbor freight.
