Resolved Question:

I have a White-Rodgers Model 1F80-261 programable thermostat. The display has been reading LO BAT. What does that mean? That I need to install a battery? If so, what kind and where?

It doesn't appear easy to remove from the wall...

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to help! Yes, this unit does have batteries. Gently pry the front cover of the thermostat from the back and you can see the battery position and location in this manual. Use alkaline batteries.
