That A1 ans A2 is for an economizer control most likely you don't have one that still works

what do i do with the wires that connect to A1 and A2 terminals?

HVAC Technician: Rick Mather, HVAC Technician replied 8 years ago
Well you could make it work with a ice cube relay and use Y1 for the econ, and then bring on cooling with y2 but only if the econ still works other wise cap the wires

we did cap the wires but the cooling did not come on. The tstat timed out on the delay but did not energize the contactor. I think there must be something else wrong the wiring or the programing with the new tstat. Thanks for your help.
HVAC Technician: Rick Mather, HVAC Technician replied 8 years ago
Well the old wiring was in the link for the a1 and a2 but just be sure your wiring is correct and the program for the correct system
