Why is my honeywell gas valve making a loud noise?

My honeywell gas valve (VR8200A-2215) is making a loud noise

What kind of noise is it making?

The voltage and current needs to be checked at the gas valve. It should be 18-24 volts. The current also needs to be checked, it can be done with a low voltage test light. Look on side of gas valve for voltage rating (normally 24 V). If voltage and current okay, have professional check supply gas pressure. Minimum and maximum gas pressures for the boiler will be noted on the boiler itself. Normally one of these will need replacement: gas valve, transformer, and/or control board (if equipped)
