Did the watery stools just start today? Has she had any changes in hay or feed? What have you tried so far?

https://www.platinumperformance.com/international/unitedkingdom

and

https://www.platinumperformance.com/equine-bio-sponge-supplement

I put the platinum performance link and the biosponge links above. They make a product called biosponge which is very helpful in treating diarrhea.

Horse Veterinarian: Dr. Gabby, Horse Veterinarian replied 6 months ago

Biosponge is what I use on my own horses if the diarrhea is not related to worms or an infection.

So, she should have a fecal sample checked for worm eggs and abnormal bacteria.

She may need a certain dewormer or she may need an antibiotic treatment.

While she is having watery diarrhea, put her on hay or grass only. Once she has normal manure, put her back on the grain gradually over a few days.

You should be able to purchase electrolyte powder or paste at tack stores and feed stores. You could buy some from your vet as well. Give her a dose once a day while she is having diarrhea. The directions should be on the label.

If she becomes lethargic, she has a fever, or she stops eating and drinking then call the vet out at once.
