Customer Question
Hi there thinking my...

Hi there thinking my horse has maybe a stifle issue

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. What is the matter with your horse?

He does not seem to have full range of motion in his hind legs and has also been lethargic and doesn't play when i turn him out or even move around that much. It has been about one week I have noticed this

Veterinarian's Assistant: Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The Expert will know how to help your horse. What is the horse's name?

Amadeus

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Amadeus?

I am not thinking its really a lethargy I think its more like he is sore or stiff

How old is he? What is his breed? Have you had a vet out to do a lameness exam and figure out where the issue is?

Ask Your Own Horse Veterinary Question
Customer reply replied 9 months ago
No have not had anyone out to see him yet. He is a 10 yr old thoroughbred. I attached a video. Something going on in hind end it looks like to me. Maybe his left back leg area.
Horse Veterinarian: Dr. Gabby, Horse Veterinarian replied 9 months ago

Okay did you put the video on here?

Hi yes it seemed like it went through
Horse Veterinarian: Dr. Gabby, Horse Veterinarian replied 9 months ago

I do not see the video. I really think you should have a vet come out and diagnose the site of lameness. I may be able to tell you which leg he is off on in the video but I would not be able to tell you the area of the leg causing the lameness without doing an exam and some flexion tests in person.
