Does the horn beep when you press the fob lock button multiple times?
Sorry, my bad, I saw my info request and failed to review the complete question.
The multiplex is a module inside of the fuse box under the left side of the dash.
This same module controls the tail light relay which powers the interior instrument illumination lights. Can you remove the tail light relay from the same fuse box? Turn the headlights on and see if you are missing ground to pin 3? If you jump a wire from pin 2 to 1, do the interior lights now work?
