If you're getting a grinding noise when braking then that most likely means that the pads are worn down to the backing plate and it is scraping on the rotor. Since you had them done not too long ago, you may have another caliper that is sticking and wearing the brake pads down too quickly. I'm assuming that when the rotors and caliper was replaced, they replaced the pads also. It may also be possible that the brake pads were faulty and wore down too quickly.
