I’m replacing the rusted out rear subframe mounts

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your Honda?

2005 Honda pilot I’ve got all the pieces cut and I don’t know what size to make the holes in the body

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Pilot yourself? What have you tried so far?

I’ve cut out the rusted pieces of the subframe and prefab the new ones

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Yes I need to know what the size of the holes I should drill in the top of the sub frame to connect it

Welcome, I'm Chris (aka-Moose).

  • THE TIME I AM ONLINE, 7 days a week normally online around midday and then late evening until early morning.
  • PHONE CALLS are automatically offered by the website normally after my first reply. I complete calls where I feel it is a benefit.
  • UPLOADED LINKS I SEND, if I upload dropbox links, they will open on a home PC, often they fail on a work PC, on a phone use the box on the top right of your phone screen for direct download.

Since you are fabing something up instead of just unbolting and bolting up a new part. Can I get a picture of the part or area you are asking about and a little better explanation?

Linda B.USA

Your answers were clear and the diagrams were perfect. Dealer wanted $87 for an hour of labor and even I did it in 15 minutes.

EdUSA

HONDA PLATINUM was great. I really appreciate his help. I was ready to trade my new Honda until he told me to wait until I got 3,000 miles on it and my gas mileage would get much better.

I took the Power Steering O-Ring service bulletin linked from JustAnswer to my Acura dealer, and not only did they no-charge the o-ring, they also replaced the power steering pump at no cost.
