Thanks what's the scs line? How do l jump it with scanner?

Shorting the service check signal (SCS) circuit with the HDS software running on a PC is a little different than what you may be used to with the HDS Tablet or HDS Pocket Tester. On an HDS PC you can either short the SCS with the F2 tab or using one of the tools, such as DTCs / Freeze Data or Snapshot found in the Mode Menu. But you need a scan tool capable of doing it. Otherwise you will have to do what you can without scan tool which is testing wires with meter.

0k. If l just use s meter will l damage anything? I'm working at home sir.

No you will be fine to test with meter. So you can check resistance of solenoid then unplug PCM and unplug transmission then check resistance between both points on the yellow wire. If good verify black wire at solenoid has good ground. If both are good then replace PCM. If either show high resistance then run new wire or fix ground as needed. Let me know if you have more questions, thanks.

Thx solenoid resistance read 17.5 ohms. Is that ok?

There is no specification for it so I can't say for sure but that number seems about right. Has solenoid been replaced?

Ask Your Own Honda Question
Customer reply replied 2 months ago
No

You could compare resistance of that solenoid to other solenoids, they are probably about the same. But I would make sure wiring going to solenoid is good and replace solenoid either way as other option is PCM which is expensive. Let me know if you have questions, thanks.

Grounds seems fine. Continuity on yellow wire from com to plug. But ok. I'm still thinking pcm.
Customer reply replied 2 months ago
Ok will do

Solenoid is way cheaper to replace which is main reason I recommend to at least try it before going to PCM. Let me know if you have questions, thanks .
