Hello my name is ***** ***** welcome to just answers! I will be assisting you with all of your vehicle questions today. Give me one moment while I review your question and come back with a answer. Please be aware I do not know your skill level or abilities so I will be asking a lot of questions and in a lot of cases we will respond to each other quite a lot before we find a solution. As far as phone calls are concerned that is the system prompting you, not me, and they do cost more money, I prefer text but in some cases a phone call is required. If I don’t answer right away or quickly in conversation I am helping another customer or have stepped out for a moment and will respond as soon as I can. Ok lets get started!

are you still there ?
Mechanic for Honda: Mechanic01, ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

Ill take that as a no, we need to start with the basics, you need to check fuel pressure and spark

Ask Your Own Honda Question
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
if the car wont start how can you check fuel pressure?
Mechanic for Honda: Mechanic01, ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

when you turn the key on the pump turns on and pressurizes the system it dosent have to run to check pressure

Ask Your Own Honda Question
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
there is no doubt the fuel pump is working, disconnected fuel line at the engine, turned the key good gas flow, pressure not known.
Mechanic for Honda: Mechanic01, ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

ok working and good pressure are 2 different things you will need a fuel pressure gauge to check the system properly, if fuel pressure isnt optimal it can turn on all day and not run

Linda B.USA

Your answers were clear and the diagrams were perfect. Dealer wanted $87 for an hour of labor and even I did it in 15 minutes.

EdUSA

HONDA PLATINUM was great. I really appreciate his help. I was ready to trade my new Honda until he told me to wait until I got 3,000 miles on it and my gas mileage would get much better.

SummerUSA

I took the Power Steering O-Ring service bulletin linked from JustAnswer to my Acura dealer, and not only did they no-charge the o-ring, they also replaced the power steering pump at no cost.

Gary RStevenson Ranch, CA

Mary C.Freshfield, Liverpool, UK
