ok, sounds like a vacuum leak if its revving high then shutting off

Ask Your Own Honda Question
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
I said I can rev it once before it dies. It doesn't rev on it's own
Mechanic for Honda: david craig, Auto Mechanic replied 8 months ago

double check all of the vacuum lines/hoses/connection. make sure the clamps on the air intake tube are tight. did you use a torque wrench when putting everything back together?

its not an injector issue. it wouldnt let it even start for a second if it was.

listen I wasn't being cute with u. I can crank it with the plenum off while misting starting fluid and it will keep running. Its a fuel problem but what? If u don't want to help me give me someone who will instead of a cute remark or u either credit this money I just spent.
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
I see where u referred me to another. Credit my money.

Your answers were clear and the diagrams were perfect. Dealer wanted $87 for an hour of labor and even I did it in 15 minutes.

HONDA PLATINUM was great. I really appreciate his help. I was ready to trade my new Honda until he told me to wait until I got 3,000 miles on it and my gas mileage would get much better.

I took the Power Steering O-Ring service bulletin linked from JustAnswer to my Acura dealer, and not only did they no-charge the o-ring, they also replaced the power steering pump at no cost.
