One more thing, did you check all the fuses?

Ask Your Own Honda Question
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
all fuses r good
Mechanic for Honda: Gunvir Singh,
 replied 7 months ago

Next step will be to scope cam and crank signals to make sire proper signal is present. If signal is strong only thing left is timing.

Ask Your Own Honda Question
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
how can i check that
Mechanic for Honda: Gunvir Singh,
 replied 7 months ago

A compatible scan tool will be needed. With that you can check for signal from input sensors like cam and crank sensors.

Ask Your Own Honda Question

i just find it highly unlikely since the motor was running fine in the other car.the light turns on when u start the car and shuts off
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
when u shut down the key it blinks a couple of times and shut off again
Mechanic for Honda: Gunvir Singh,
 replied 7 months ago

It should be blinking when engine is turning over. But you already have spark, fuel and no codes. There is nothing else left other than timing or faulty cam/crank signal.

ok

Your answers were clear and the diagrams were perfect. Dealer wanted $87 for an hour of labor and even I did it in 15 minutes.

HONDA PLATINUM was great. I really appreciate his help. I was ready to trade my new Honda until he told me to wait until I got 3,000 miles on it and my gas mileage would get much better.

SummerUSA

I took the Power Steering O-Ring service bulletin linked from JustAnswer to my Acura dealer, and not only did they no-charge the o-ring, they also replaced the power steering pump at no cost.
