Fluid disappearing and no sign of leaks

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the color and consistency of the fluid? And where exactly are you finding it?

Not finding the fluid, fluid was changed about 5000 miles ago. Was never low and this week checked fluid and was barely touching stick.

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your Honda?

2009 crv

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your CR-V yourself? What have you tried so far?

Just found this this week end. Oil was changed at hond a dealers.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Fluid was not changed for first 90000 miles. Noticed a slight road when at highway speeds after fluid change and checked fluid level and it barely touched the stick

The transmission fluid was first changed at 90000 miles ( did not know about 30000 recommendations) 5000 miles after transm
ission fluid change by hond a dealers a slight roar was heard and fluid was checked and barely touched the end of the stick. Took 3/4 quart to fill to between holes on stick. No leaks found, where did the fluid go ?

well. I have been a tech for 36 years and trans expert and will honestly say 3/4 qt low is nothing and will NOT cause trans noise. 3/4 qt has to be leaking real slow or was not up to 1005 level when last changed. If you have a noise? 3/4 qt is nor causing that, would need to be much much lower like by 4 + qts for any issues and noise is not one of them, slipping would be #1 fluid is either a very small leak you do not see and may not hit the ground OR was not 100% full when last checked. Fluid in a trans goes up/down upon temperature, One time it may be full, then next depending on temp could be a little low. 3/4 qt is only a little low.Roar? Im not there but trans fluid little low is not the cause? More like a hub bearing noise but not trans. I am trying to be honest with everything I know, I promise

HONDA PLATINUM was great. I really appreciate his help. I was ready to trade my new Honda until he told me to wait until I got 3,000 miles on it and my gas mileage would get much better.

I took the Power Steering O-Ring service bulletin linked from JustAnswer to my Acura dealer, and not only did they no-charge the o-ring, they also replaced the power steering pump at no cost.
