I'm giving history of work done by honda garage in aurora co. i have more to tell you and then will state current issue. june, 2016 spark plugs replaced; valve adjustment, a12341 p8a a400 gasket , head cover, and replacedv/c gaskets, replaced timing belt water pump and drive belts, compresserair conditioning belts, timing belt tensioner. march 2014 enginr light was on sop engine soak kit fuel pressure regulter and pcm . oil pressure kit pressure regulater replaced air pressure kit , replaced spark plugs and valve adjustment done and another gasket and valve adjustment done. thisisin addition to every 3000 mile check ups. now the engine light isbsck on, , tere is a small oil leak coming from somewhere . i hae had the car looked at by 2 mechanics. they agree the leak is small and is safe to drive as long as iwatchand make sure there isoil in thecar. this makes me nervous, butthis was my retirement car and iboughtahonda becaause i had been told over andover they were great cars and had excellent longevity. what do i do? also it averages only about 22000 miles before brakes have tobe replaced. i am frustrated!!!!!!!

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Accord yourself? What have you tried so far?

No, i am a 78 year old retired rn. i do research . i have just listed all work that has been done. re you there

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Your answers were clear and the diagrams were perfect. Dealer wanted $87 for an hour of labor and even I did it in 15 minutes.

HONDA PLATINUM was great. I really appreciate his help. I was ready to trade my new Honda until he told me to wait until I got 3,000 miles on it and my gas mileage would get much better.

SummerUSA

I took the Power Steering O-Ring service bulletin linked from JustAnswer to my Acura dealer, and not only did they no-charge the o-ring, they also replaced the power steering pump at no cost.
