Have Honda Questions? Ask a Honda Repair Expert.
Hi, I'm Ron and I will be helping you today.Stand by for a moment while I prepare your answer.
You either have a vacuum leak or a bad/dirty idle motor. This IAC motor is located right after the MAF sensor at the air inlet hose. You can remove it to clean it first. Vacuum leaks are found easiest with a smoke machine too. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Please understand that I don't know your skill level or toolsyou have to assist us. Also understand that I can't see, smell, hear, or touch the vehicle either, so your patience isappreciated. JA is a great Q/A site, but it does not replace arepair shop. So please don’t shoot the messenger if I have todeliver bad news:)If you are satisfied with my answer, I would greatlyappreciate a 5 star rating now before you leave the site and Iwill still assist you after you have rated me too if anotherquestion pops up. I don’t get credit for helping you untilyou rate me
