I am reading that, "It may be necessary to limit the movement of the release fork (B) with a block of wood to remove all the air from the system.".

Customer reply replied 11 months ago
thanks never really checked the play in the fork ,noted it was snug when installing the slave, good idea lol raining now at it again tomorrow
Mechanic for Honda: Mike S., Mechanic replied 11 months ago

No, not to check if there is play, to purposely limit the movement.

Did that answer your question? If so, kindly leave me a positive rating, so I get credit. After all, you have already made the deposit.
If you don't, the deposit you made will just sit there and I won't get my share of it.

Your answers were clear and the diagrams were perfect. Dealer wanted $87 for an hour of labor and even I did it in 15 minutes.

HONDA PLATINUM was great. I really appreciate his help. I was ready to trade my new Honda until he told me to wait until I got 3,000 miles on it and my gas mileage would get much better.

I took the Power Steering O-Ring service bulletin linked from JustAnswer to my Acura dealer, and not only did they no-charge the o-ring, they also replaced the power steering pump at no cost.
