Customer Question

My air cond. is recharged and not leaking. They said the clutch didn't click on so that might be the problem. But since then I will be driving and all of a sudden it starts blowing cold air for a few miles then stops again and blows warm air, but the air smells sweet and sickly. I shut it off and put only blower and the air smells good again. Does this sound like anything you have heard of?
JA: Has the clutch been slipping? Are you having any trouble shifting?
Customer: You mean my clutch that changes gears in the transmission?
JA: What is the model/year of your Honda?
Customer: 2007 Element
JA: Are you fixing your Element yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No, I had my air checked, and they said they didn t hear the clutch click when I turned on the air cond
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Hi Im David, thanks for visiting the site. If you are smelling something sweet inside the vehicle then you have a leak in the evaporator.
