Customer Question
Hi....suspension problems with my...

Hi....suspension problems with my 2005 CRV...clunky noises and have replaced both front struts, r front wheelbearing and spindle?....now I've noticed that on that side there is something (i can't identify what) that is coming loose (stabilizer bar or something that goes from support of the spring and strut to a center mount on engine? I can't get down low enough (I'm old...) to really see and the noises I'm hearing are gettingi worse

Mechanic's Assistant: How has the ride been lately? Have you noticed any fluid under the car?

No fluid and when I first got it back from dealer it seemed fine but now (about one week) whatever that loose thing is, it is making more noise every time I drive....it looks like a stabilizer of some sort but it doesn't seem to be solid...center mounted just behind engine? Hondas are odd to me

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your CR-V yourself? What have you tried so far?

No, I used to work on my own vehicles but since I moved to Hondas, haven't really and now with health issues, I just take it to the dealer...they're pretty honest but I'd really like to know what's going on ....:(

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Just would like to know what that part is that I know is loose and what else might be making rattling noises..thank you

I just heard from my mechanic. You were right...a $45.00 job. THANK YOU!! Your response was received in less than 10 minutes!!

Linda B.USA

Your answers were clear and the diagrams were perfect. Dealer wanted $87 for an hour of labor and even I did it in 15 minutes.

HONDA PLATINUM was great. I really appreciate his help. I was ready to trade my new Honda until he told me to wait until I got 3,000 miles on it and my gas mileage would get much better.

I took the Power Steering O-Ring service bulletin linked from JustAnswer to my Acura dealer, and not only did they no-charge the o-ring, they also replaced the power steering pump at no cost.
