Customer Question

Drivers power window is the only one working. When master switch is on, window regulator clicks, but does not operate. 50 amp fuse is good.
JA: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?
Customer: what noise?
JA: What is the model of your '50 Honda?
Customer: 2006
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Replaced the passenger side window regulator
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I know

to be clear the passenger windows do not operate with only the master switch or with the passenger side switches as well? and when you replaced the regulator did it come with a new motor or no?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
Only the drivers window works. Period. New regulator came with motor. Passenger window "clicks" when master switch is on.

I might not be available to receive a phone call at another time. I would rather try to resolve this problem while I have the time to do it.

Hello my name is ***** ***** to help. Do you still need assistance?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
I have not resolved the problem with my windows
Expert:  Peter Bagley replied 9 days ago.

Ok I just noticed your question and thought you still needed help. There are no individual fuses or relays for each window, all the power goes through the master switch. Because of the vehicle's age, I would like you to check the wiring in the cord going from the body to the driver's door because with all the opening and closing it flexes the wires inside it causing them to break. I will strive to get a 5 star ratting and if I fall short let me know so I may further help.

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
It may be easier to bypass the master switch than trying to track down a broken wire somewhere
Expert:  Peter Bagley replied 9 days ago.

Not really as this is where they will brake and it's really not hard to check and repair them if you would like me to walk you through it.
