Our 2008 Fit has an error code P0171. It stalls

Customer Question

our 2008 Fit has an error code P0171. It stalls periodically. We know that the battery is low, but the alternator tested good.
JA: How old is the battery? And have you tested it with a voltmeter?
Customer: at least 2 years and yes - 290
JA: Are you fixing your Fit yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just getting started. Someone suggested cleaning the MAF sensor. I just don't have much experience, but I'm willing to try.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Even though we just had an oil change at the beginning of the month, the oil life indicator only shows 15%.
