My son reports the following accesories failed to work on

Customer Question

My son reports the following accesories failed to work on his drive home. There may be more. High Beams, Rear wipers, Front wipers when on intermittent settings, turn signals.
JA: Have you checked the bulbs and fuses?
Customer: Haven't gotten home yet to do so. But fuse block diagram shows a different fuse for every one of these. Some in the indoor panel some in the outdoor panel. But they all failed at one time, and all are controls affixed to steering column, no? Maybe a wiring harness down by the pedals??
JA: What is the model/year of your Honda?
Customer: 2006 honda odyssey
JA: Are you fixing your Odyssey yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Haven't gotten home yet. Have tried nothing.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: It rained heavily today.

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I'm here to help get your problem solved.

This is a common problem caused by a failed Multiplex Control Unit (MICU) which is built into interior fusebox. This would be around a $600 job at dealership otherwise here are instructions to replace yourself. Let me know if you have questions, thanks.
