Hello and thank you for choosing Just Answer. Be sure the car is OFF, then connect to OBDII Scanner, once connected turn the car on and run the scanner. If you have already tries this and there is still no communication you will need to get a test light and check your fuses under the dash and hood with the car in the ACC On position. If there is an ECU fuse blown the scanner will not connect to the ECU. Worst case is there is a short in the ECU or wiring harness.
