Customer Question

My rear window wiper got broken off in the car wash. I have a new one but am having trouble getting the existing second nut off. The outside nut was easy.
JA: Have you checked the fuses? Do you know if there is power to the wiper motor?
Customer: No. Do I need to remove the fuse?
JA: What is the model/year of your Honda?
Customer: 2004 Element
JA: Are you fixing your Element yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, I thought I could do this myself. Like I said earlier, what's the trick to get the second nut off so I can screw on the new arm?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: NO.

There is only one nut that should be holding it on. It is either a 10mm or 12mm nut. The arm can stick on the shaft and we use a battery clamp puller to remove them.
