Need radio code because of battery being disconnected. Not sure how to get it.
JA: Do you have a scan tool to read the codes?
Customer: I do not.
JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 2007 Honda Fit
JA: Are you fixing your Fit yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No it's my friends car, nothing to be fixed just trying to figure out the radios code.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: That's about it.

I need the vin number and serial number from the radio.

To get serial number turn off radio, hold 1 and 6 buttons at the same time then press the power on button the serial number will be displayed it should be an 8 digit number.

make sure you are entering it correctly. If it says error 1, 2, 3 you need to start over.

No sir, I turned it off to reset it, then tried again and then I get error code 1, 2, 3 etc..

Im completely stumped then because I entered all the information the website provided me along with you and it is still giving me an error.

Disconnect both battery cables (positive and negative) and clamp or use a jumper wire to hold them together, turn key to on position and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then turn ignition off and remove key, reconnect battery cables at a time, positive first then negative.
