My heater is not working, fan is working but I do not get

my heater is not working, fan is working but I do not get hot air
JA: Have you checked the freon? And do all the fuses have power?
Customer: Not yet, I was not sure where to start
JA: What is the model/year of your Honda?
Customer: My AC is not working either but I was able live with it ... It's 2007 Honda accord
JA: Are you fixing your Accord yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: When AC is not working, I tried recharge but did not work
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Ok, the first step is to check the heater hoses where they connect at the firewall in the engine compartment. Let engine idle for about 5 minutes with the heater on high and then feel both the hoses. Are they both hot, one hot one cold, or both cold.
