Last week my daughter lost all power to her 2003 Honda CRV

Customer Question

Hi, last week my daughter lost all power to her 2003 Honda CRV while driving on the highway with cruise control on. She got it pulled over and restarted and was able to drive ok without using cruise control. Mechanic noted something about brake in front. No biggy just told her not to use cruise control. Today, she noted significant hesitation and no power when attempting to accelerate. Said one other time at 65MPH car started shaking and jerking. Please help. She needs this vehicle for community to school. Need it to be safe.
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: Just started today so she turned around and came home for my car but I think fluctuating.
JA: Are you fixing your CR-V yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: We haven't tried anything. We just took it to mechanic after cruise control failure and power loss. Today was first day of any other issues.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No that's it. We would have mechanic fix but need to not blow $ on just guessing what needs done.
