Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have an external battery hooked up right now
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
However, I haven't noticed an improvement in the past 20 minutes
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It is parked in such a way that jumping with another vehicle is not possible
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.

Could you put it in neutral and push it so you can jump with another vehicle?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I didn't try to be honest, but I will right now. If that works and I do get a good jump, should I wait 30 mins before shutting it off?
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.

Yes let it run to charge the battery, hopefully this is the problem. If you hear a click most common cause is the battery then starter solenoid.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i moved it and tried to start it with no success
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i ran the other car and pressed the gas for a number of minutes

You may have a bad starter. You will need an automotive multi meter to diagnose this problem.

Would you like a wiring diagram of the starting circuit of you vehicle?
