2004 CRV power door lock driver side (both doors)

Customer Question

2004 CRV power door lock driver side (both doors) malfunctioning
JA: Is it your first time dealing with this issue?
Customer: Yes. We just bought the car and the rear door power lock does not work, you have to lock and unlock manually. The drivers door won't let you lock with the remote or manually, it keeps popping up to the unlocked position if you try to lock it manually.
JA: What is the model of your '04 Honda?
Customer: CRV
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Nothing so far. It looks pretty involved
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Not at the moment

Hi, my name is ***** ***** is a very common problem on the CRV's, we do alot of then, the lock motors fail on these, and they are built into the latch on each door, so the latch will need to be replaced on the 2 effected doors, are you planning on fixing this your self?
