Customer Question

The SRS light on my 2001 Honda Civic is on. I pulled the code - it is 3-6 Permanent DTC. Where can I find what this means?
JA: Is anything interfering with the seatbelt latch?
Customer: It functions properly - latches and unlatches.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I was hoping to fix it myself. So far I unplugged an replugged the seatbelt connectors but no success. So I bought an Autel MaxiDiag Elite scanner to read the SRS code and this is what I got.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: The maintenance required light is on but didn't think that was related.

Hello and thanks for using JustAnswer!

I am sorry to say i am not finding code 3-6 anywhere in the diagnostic information.

There is code 3-5 Short to Ground in Driver's Seat Belt Tensioner.

What is the code description your scan tool is displaying?
