Customer Question

2014 Honda Accord LX serviced by an independent mechanic. He performed a brake fluid flush and replaced a rear brake caliper. He used DOT4 fluid, not heavy duty DOT3 as recommended. Brake pedal travel has increased before brakes engage now. Cause and effect?
Why does the manual say DOT4 is good for temporary use only?
