stuck trans dip stick into alternator shorting out everything. No interior lights, no starter action, no head lights. battery is new and good!

Good morning sorry to hear this but happens a lot on this model .

Check all the fuse's under the hood .and under the dash drivers side

Under the hood you most likely blown the 120 battery main fuse but i suggest you check all fuses with a test light .

then the fuse under the dash.

Replace all blown fuses disconnect the batter for a few minutes then reconnect and try and start .

In most cases you will have just a blown fuses but its been known for the ECM to get damaged .
