AC compressor will not kick on 2007 Honda civic, Do not know

Customer Question

AC compressor will not kick on 2007 Honda civic
JA: Have you checked the Freon level?
Customer: Do not know how to check the exact level. When car is not running both low and high pressure sides have pressure. I did try and add more freaon. After that the ac system "released pressure" underneath somewhere and then the compressor quit engaging
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes,
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: no
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Honda Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
