Accord: 2004 Honda Accord - front end shakes a little at 30

Customer Question

2004 Honda Accord - front end shakes a little at 30 and violently at 60. Had tires rotated and balanced, front end alignment and tires checked. At 60 when shaking if you put the car in neutral it stops. No one seems to know what is wrong.

hello have your mechanic check your drive axles.... most likley the long axle is out of balance. if you have replaced axles already make sure its oem aftermarket parts will vibrate.

Could it be anything else. I have one mechanic stating it could be the struts and mounts and another having to do with steering of ball joints or bearings.

unlikley struts would cause this. ball joints would cause more of a pull than a shake. i have personally replaced longside axles for this issue on numerous occasions.
