Mechanic for Honda: MASTER TECH, Honda Technician replied 2 years ago

in order for me to verify your identity you will need to send me your drivers license info and also I will have a phone number for my documentation .

Customer reply replied 2 years ago
but why do I have to pay $24 to talk to you over the phone?
Mechanic for Honda: MASTER TECH, Honda Technician replied 2 years ago

as a honda professional we don't hand out these codes with out verifying the person is the owner and also verifying their ID.

if you went to the Honda dealer you will ask you for these items.

the service is so I can verify your the legal owner by having you forward me your drivers license info.

plus I can see on the Honda site if your the owner.

it's ok if your not wanting to proceed but I can't give out this brake code with the info.

I just sent you both the title and my drivers license...
Mechanic for Honda: MASTER TECH, Honda Technician replied 2 years ago

this is a high security code so these are not given out like radio codes.

if you were the owner of a car and the person was asking for this code to steal your car you would be very upset that these safety steps are not taken right?

Linda B.USA

Your answers were clear and the diagrams were perfect. Dealer wanted $87 for an hour of labor and even I did it in 15 minutes.

EdUSA

HONDA PLATINUM was great. I really appreciate his help. I was ready to trade my new Honda until he told me to wait until I got 3,000 miles on it and my gas mileage would get much better.

SummerUSA

I took the Power Steering O-Ring service bulletin linked from JustAnswer to my Acura dealer, and not only did they no-charge the o-ring, they also replaced the power steering pump at no cost.

Gary RStevenson Ranch, CA

Mary C.Freshfield, Liverpool, UK
