Good morning I am master tech and will be able to assist you today.

has this alternator been tested on the bench to make sure it's charging.

we see a lot of issues with after market alternators on these civic's.

do you have a volt meter ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
have volt meter. Alternator has been checked.
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 1 year ago.

ok on the bench it's charging 13-14.5 volts ?

Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 1 year ago.

also was the alternator case painted or just bead blasted ?

if the case is a dark gray or black then the case is painted and it will need to be removed and all the paint sanded off at the top pivot bolt.

Will do the checks. Whats the possibility the ECM is bad?
Expert:  MASTER TECH replied 1 year ago.

could be but also make sure the top 14mm alternator bolt is tight this is a common issue with been left loose.

let me know if you get to a step and need to proceed further.
