Customer Question

I have just been told my 2009 Honda Odyssey rear shocks are leaking. Got Honda dealer shocks at 57,000 and again at 95,000. Now it's been 15 months and 18,000 miles and Honda dealer says leaking again. Really!

Hello, my name is Bobby. Thank you for the question. Can you tell me what type of roads you typically drive on? Do you have the factory wheels on the vehicle?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I drive city roads and highways.

Thank you. I have seen these shocks wear out prematurely, but not this fast. Honda should really take care of them for you under warranty this time. I would contact Honda of North America this time to get it covered. I usually do not use these shocks on this vehicle myself. I prefer Monroe Spectrum shocks as they are a better shock for this van.
