My ac comp has seized and clutch is shot. Is it ok to still drive car without damaging belt. The pulley still spins ok when car is in. This is a 2000 Honda Odyssey.

Hi there,

You'll be ok, but I would disconnect the compressor wire until you ready to replace the compressor.

The system will need a flush out, new filter and the correct amount of system oil when the new compressor is fitted.

There would normally be a connector at or near the compressor clutch coil.

Disconnect the connector, so you don't accidentally engage the A/C.
