Welcome to JustAnswer.

When does it act this way? Just at a stop or driving down the road? Or both? What has the mechanic replaced or done to correct your problem?

Please remember a rating will be required once I have your answer.

Thanks, Honda-Man

It would stop at a red light a couple weeks ago. And recently it felt like it was loosing its force by taking a few seconds to accelerate
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
now it doesn't stay on unless I press the gas pedal
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
But it sounds real weak
Expert:  Honda-Man replied 2 years ago.

Thanks for the reply and additional information.

If it won't keep running at a stop and lacks power it possibly has a bad coolant temperature sensor. The sensor tells the engine computer just how warm or cold the engine is. If it fails it sends an incorrect signal to the engine computer. This makes it run poorly like your Accord is. I would also recommend having the fuel pressure tested. My last suggestion is to have the ignition components inspected. The plugs, wires, coil, cap, and rotor need to be thoroughly inspected.

Please rate my service as OK, good, excellent. you can reply after the rating if you still have any questions! Follow-up questions are included in the original price!

Thanks in advance.
