Odyssey exl: 2005 honda odyssey exl. The air conditioner stopped

Customer Question

2005 honda odyssey exl. The air conditioner stopped cooling. Has plenty of freon but compressor wont start. What switches, fuses, relays do i check before i assume the compressor is bad?

Hello,

How did you determine it was full of freon?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I removed the cap and checked it with a gauge. It showed it was in the red range, but i suspect that it showed red because the compressor did not start.

Thanks tim, sorry for the wait.

Yes, that is because the compressor is not on. BUT using only the low side gauge can be misleading so just to make sure the pressure is ok, what is the exact pressure reading, i just need to be sure before continuing. Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Pressure is 118

Thanks,
thats enough to activate the low pressure switch on.

Does this have digital auto temp control?
