Accord: My 91 accord suddenly wouldn't start, soon as I jumpstart

Customer Question

My 91 accord suddenly wouldn't start, soon as I jumpstart it it starts perfectly. I bought new battery it started on own perfectly soon as I turned it off again dead.It starts with a jump every time yet after I turn it off its dead so I had alternator tested at auto zone alternator tested good. It doesn't die slowly or die at all once started runs great yet turn it off its dead won't restart but always instantly starts with jump remove cables and it still runs my battery was brand new started once drove 2 miles turned it off and wouldn't restart yet it does start perfect with a jump this doesn't fit alternator bad battery bad or both. Cause 3 stores tested alternator and it tests perfect. Do you know what's wrong im handicapped on social security I can't afford process of elimination. What's wrong with my Honda sir

Thank you for using Just Answer.I will do my best to answer your question. When it would not start did your headlights and all eletrical items still work? When you say "dead" do you mean the battery seemed dead. When you turned the ignition on to start the engine did it click or turn the starter at all?
