i have a 2013 crv i think i bent or damaged the driveshaft driving over a large stump i did not see
can remove the shaft and go with front wheel drive a few days while replacing the shaft
and do no damage to the Car ?

Yes you can remove the driveshaft and still operate your CR-V.
It will just be front wheel drive. I have a co worker who has been driving his older CR-V without a drive shaft for quite some time.
If the AWD light is coming on you may want to make sure you did not damage any wiring at the rear differential.
