How hard is it to replace a starter in a 2000 honda odyssey?

It's pretty tight in there but here are the instructions for you to see if you want to tackle it.

  1. Note the radio security code and the radio presets.

  2. Disconnect the negative battery, then the positive battery cable.

  3. On V6 engines, remove the automatic transmission cooler hose from the bracket on the starter motor.

  4. Remove the starter cable from terminal B located on the back of the solenoid.

  5. Remove the black/white wire from the S (solenoid) terminal.

  6. Remove the two bolts that mount the starter the transaxle assembly, then remove the starter motor assembly.
