Possible CausesSetting Conditions
  • AFS connector is damaged (check pins for damage, and for moisture)
  • AFS signal circuit is open
  • AFS has failed (it may be contaminated with fuel, silicone or water)
  • Reset the PCM and perform an "idle relearn" procedure
DTC P0131, P0132, P0133, P1163 not set; engine running, vehicle driven while in Closed Loop at over 55 mph in D4 for 1-2 minutes, and the PCM detected an unexpected high voltage on the Bank 1 Air Fuel Sensor 1 (AFS-11) signal circuit.
