2000 Honda Accord: the headlights on..drained..jump start

Customer Question

I have a 2000 Honda Accord and i accidentally left the headlights on. It drained my battery. I tried to jump start my car but the alarm keeps going off. Its an aftermarket alarm. I don't have the key fob. And now my car won't start because of the alarm. Any ideas?

also turn the key to the on position and then hook up the cables and see if this helps.

ok this sounds like the key has lost communication with the system

do this disconnect the battery and put the key in and turn on to the on position and then reconnect the battery .
