Good morning, I can help.

The first thing I would check are the ignition components like the cap, wires and coil.

If its running now, pour a little water on the cap, if it stalls, there is your problem.

not running. what do you mean by cap and where is it located, do you mean plug wires, and coil where is that located. in dry weather is starts like a champ

The distributor is on the passangers side of the valve cover. you will see 4 large wires right on top of the engine that all meet at a black plastic part. That is the cap.

If you have someone crank th engine over while you disconnect and hold one of the large wires about a 1/2 from where it connects to the cap you should see a spark. If not then we need to find out why.
