The only way to clear the memory from the computer to "reset" the check engine light is with a diagnostic scanner. You can go to most parts stores, such as Autozone, Discount Auto Parts, or Carquest and they will do this at no charge.

DO NOT try to clear by jumpering the DLC(data link connector), this will do serious damage to the ECM. Disconnecting the battery will not clear the codes in this car.

If, after having the codes cleared with a scanner and the check engine light still comes on and a code cannot be read, you will have to take it in to a Honda dealer for ECM diagnostics, and possibly have ECM re-programmed, replaced, or open/short in wiring traced.
