This answer was rated:

where is the brake light fuse switch located on a 1998 Honda Accord? How do I replace? The car will not go into gear without this fuse being replaced

Hello there,

Does this have a 4 or 6 cylinder engine please?

Customer: replied 10 years ago.
4 cylinder engine

Thanks,

It is fuse # XXXXX located in the underhood fuse compartment. Below is a diagram showing it's location.

Reply to Virtual Wrench's Post: Fuse was not blown. Any other suggestions?
I even put a new fuse in and it still will not come out of the park mode unless you use the override mode.

Hi,

I found another fuse it might be, if not, it's going to entail some electrical testing to determine the fault.
