let x be the number of moles of KCl
0.9 M = x / 3.5L, then x = 0.9 (3.5) = 3.15 moles

Since the molar mass of KCl is 74.5513g/mol, then 3.15 moles of KCl is
= 3.15mol (74.5513g/mol) =###-##-####gms

so dissolved###-##-####gms of KCl into 3.5 Liters of solution in order to produce 0.9M of solution of KCL
