Could you please post, attach or upload all relevant requirements, details, work in progress or any other related file(s)?

PS If you're not familiar with wikisend, it's easy and free:
Go to and upload the file there (no need to sign up).
You will then get a page that has the File ID and Download Link.
Copy either the File ID or the Download Link.
Then come back here and paste it in your reply.

I have these two functions:
public bool vmd()
return (IsNewlyIncluded()) && getLimb();
}bool generateVmd = false;
if ((isNewPolicy() || isEndorsement()) && (!isMerged()))
int driverCount = getDriverCount();
for (int i = 0; i < driverCount; i++)
Driver d = getDriver(i);
if ((d != null) && (!d.isDeleted()) && d.vmd())
generateVmd = true;
}what I want to do is to generate the vmd when the getlimb is set to yes. Basically, I need to compare the original value to what it changed to.

Can you post this as file(s)? it's hard to read like this, plus I need more context - what's the nature of some of these other functions?
It looks like C# ***** is it?

At first glance, it looks like you may have extra <% and %>, at:

if (!isLearnersPermitAllowed)

I can't tell what's going on without seeing the whole file

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I don't see that
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
this is the portion I need help with, it's just the validation part that's not working
Expert:  Ingo U replied 1 year ago.

the file you uploaded has:

if (!isLearnersPermitAllowed)
alert("Driver <% = isLearnersPermitDrvNum %>\'s Learn\'s Permit is not allowed without the addition of a licensed driver <% = rev.getCompany().getMinOtherDriverAgeToAllowLearnersPermit() %> years or older.");

That looks odd to me because of the %> after the opening } and before the closing {

But also, you for() loops appearently do the exact same thing every time through the loop, nothing changes based on the value of the loop counters f or d . That seems wrong. I'd think you're missing come code to change the 'driver' object every time through the loop since you're probably evaluating the formula for every driver.

ok let me send the full code of the two files
